PROJECTS

For this academic project, we were tasked with pitching an original product, backed with research and analysis, to the rest of our class. Socha is an app and smart-jewelry pairing meant to remind the user to take their daily medication. It was developed in the first marketing class I'd taken and is a big reason why I am still pursuing a career in marketing today.

University Village Marketing Campaign

For my Marketing Content Creation class, I collaborated with classmates to create a marketing campaign for an assigned company. The campaign includes posters, social media posts, an infographic, a radio ad, and a 90s style infomercial. After conducting some market research, we decided to focus our message on what most attracts people to living at UV: campus proximity, cost, and community.

HAWC Marketing and Communications Intern

During the summer of 2019, I had the opportunity to work as a Marketing and Communications Intern for the Houston Area Women's Center. I was able to conduct research for various campaigns, create social media posts for their various platforms, and see how a nonprofit organization runs its marketing department. I am so grateful to have had such a valuable learning experience with HAWC.

Vans Off the Wall Brand Audit

For my final Brand and Product Marketing Project in May of 2020, a partner and I designed and created a comprehensive brand audit for Vans Off the Wall. It includes research on brand history, product lines, industry trends, user information, and advertising efforts.

Pop Copywriting Intern

Beginning in October 2020, I began working at Pop as a Brand Ambassador Team Lead at UTDallas. I was tasked with managing a small team of other Brand Ambassadors to raise brand awareness on campus. I was promoted to Copywriting Intern in January 2021. My responsibilities included running the official Instagram page, running the official blog, writing copy for internal and external marketing communication, as well as UI/UX. I was also tasked with writing the first Pop Quiz and managing the marketing campaign for its launch.
